Cross-Country Skiing and Snowshoeing Near Lambertville, NJ

Washington’s Crossing State Park. You can cross-country ski or snowshoe on 15 miles of trail at Washington’s Crossing State Park.

Baldpate Mountain. Some trails can be used for cross country skiing or snowshoeing at Baldpate Mountain, as well as open meadows. Attempting trails that go down the mountain is only for advanced back-country skiers.

Delaware & Raritan Canal Trail.  The long flat linear D&R canal trail can make for excellent cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. Fireman’s field, across from Big Bear Gear, is also great for X-country skiing.

Delaware Canal State Park.  The towpath on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware River can be used for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Nockamixon State Park. Some Nockamixon State Park trails are available for cross-country skiing  and snowshoeing.
