About this experience

In this outdoor, hands-on course you will learn how to select the right cutting tools for Busch Craft and Camp Craft. You will learn the safe and proper techniques for reducing material and how to build a “Try Stick”, a culmination of notches for camp/bush craft. Remember this class is outdoors so dress accordingly. This class is for adults or anyone ages 10 and up if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Duration: 90 minutes Location: Big Bear Gear Items to bring: Pen or Pencil, notepad, camp chair or pad. A Folding or fixed blade with a blade length of no more than 4 inches. Items provided: Material for “Try Stick”, wooden anvil and group first aid kit.
